Is this the same as ASOTU CON, or something different?

Accepted Answer

ASOTU CON West is a one-day innovation summit with a smaller group of operators and selected vendors than you would see at our flagship ASOTU CON event every May. It only has one stage and is designed so most people could arrive and leave on the same day if desired.

But the atmosphere, community and vibe are definitely in the same spirit as ASOTU CON!

Is this dealer-only, or are vendors and OEM folks welcome too?

Unlike ASOTU CON and other events that we've put on in the past, this is going to be extremely dealer-focused. We have a select group of partners helping to put on the event, but outside of that, the rest of the attendees will be made up of dealership personnel.

How is this different from a typical auto industry trade show?

Accepted Answer

ASOTU CON WEST skips the trade-show floor entirely. There's no maze of vendor booths to walk, no badge scanning for leads, no sales pitches disguised as sessions. It's one room, one day, and a lineup built around dealers and operators talking honestly about what's actually working for them right now. The format is closer to a curated summit than a convention. Sponsors get real air time in front of the room instead of trying to get dealers to stop at their booth.

It's built for forward-thinking dealers, operators, and builders in the auto industry who want to hear what's working from people actually doing the work, not theory from a stage. If you're someone who wants tactical ideas over buzzwords, and you'd rather spend a day in one room with 200 sharp people than wander a convention hall, this is for you.
